The number one question we get on a regular basis is what Paint is the best paint to use on Kitchen and Bathroom Cabinets and projects.
We get it. There are so many of you that are eager to to paint your own cabinets. Before you jump into the process though we want to encourage you to do your research. We're happy to tell you the best paint and primer to use, but that information will get you only so far.
It doesn't matter how pretty the color of paint is or if you're using the right paint brand, if you don't know how to apply it, how to trouble shoot, how to prep / prepare the surface or how to add a finish like glaze or distressing to the cabinets.

So here are the Primer and Paint products we use on our Cabinet jobs.
We use Stix Bonding Primer. It's one of the best primers on the market to make sure your paint bonds properly to your cabinets. Hands down, this is the Primer you need.
For the paint, we use Benjamin Moore Advance Paint in Satin. Go to your local Benjamin Moore store and ask them to tint it to whatever color you'd like, including Sherwin Williams colors.
Advance Paint is not like any other paint on the market. It's a water based alkyd, meaning it works like a water based paint, but it dries hard like an enamel paint (smooth like butter) and the best part is you don't have to seal it.
